Wednesday Rosary
Wednesday is usually a day for the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary: the Resurrection, Ascension, Descent of the Holy Spirit, Assumption, and Coronation of Mary. These five decades begin with Christ risen from the dead and end with Mary's share in his glory. They are also the usual Sunday mysteries.

Wednesday's Glorious Mysteries
The disciples' encounters with the risen Jesus offer a place to pray when faith is difficult. Mary Magdalene recognizes him when he speaks her name; Thomas meets the Lord whose Resurrection he had doubted. The Glorious Mysteries include Scripture and a reflection for each decade.
Prayer for the departed
These mysteries are often chosen when praying for someone who has died, in hope of the resurrection of the body and eternal life. The Rosary for the Dead gives Eternal Rest and guidance for that intention. Any set of mysteries may be offered for the departed.
Wednesday usually has the Glorious Mysteries throughout the year. Today's Rosary identifies feast-day adaptations; the guide gives the full order of prayer.
