Gabriel's greeting interrupts Mary's ordinary life with an extraordinary call. She asks an honest question, listens, and gives herself freely to God's will. May her humility teach us to trust God when the path ahead is not yet clear.

Jesus is born in poverty and laid in a manger. Mary and Joseph care for him, and the shepherds come to see him. May we make room for Christ and learn to value people more than possessions.
Mary and Joseph bring Jesus to the Temple and place their family life within God's covenant. Simeon and Anna recognize the child they have long awaited. May we be faithful in ordinary duties and attentive to God when he comes quietly.
After three anxious days, Mary and Joseph find Jesus in the Temple. They do not fully understand his answer, but Mary keeps these things in her heart. When God seems distant, may we keep seeking him with patience and trust.
